Adrian started out in the industry in 2004 before joining Duffy and Company in September 2006 where he further enhanced his training and skills. He has invaluable experience and a comprehensive understanding of the local area and took over sole ownership of the business in April 2020. Adrian has in lived Burgess Hill all of his life and loves spending time with his family and has a keen interest in most sports.

Anne started life in the industry when Duffy and Company opened its Burgess Hill doors in 1976 and is still working just as hard all these years on! Anne lives locally and has an extensive knowledge of the area and still takes great pleasure in helping customers with any questions they may have and always offers a first rate service. Anne has a particular love of horses and is a very experienced rider.

Letting Fee Information

Holding deposit - Capped at 1 weeks rent

Security Deposit Capped at 5 weeks rent for annual rental under £50,000, or 6 weeks rent for annual rental over £50,000

Rent - The agreed monthly rent

Changes to tenancy - Capped at £50 inc VAT

Early termination charge - Not exceeding the landlord’s financial losses

Late payment of rent - Interest of 3% above BoE base rate for each day the rent is late, once it is 14 days overdue

Replacement keys - Reasonable costs or give the tenant the option to purchase themselves

Utilities, council tax, communication services, TV Licence etc - Tenants own responsibility unless otherwise stated in contract
